The Ministry of Indigenous Peoples’ Affairs in collaboration with UNICEF has successfully conducted a study on Indigenous Women and Children across Guyana. The study is key to better understanding the situation of boys, girls, and their families in an effort to inform local, national and regional strategies, projects and programs that are aimed at realizing the rights of women and children and how they can be empowered.
