Sarah Browne-Shadeek is Minister of Amerindian Affairs, appointed in September 2025. Raised in Santa Rosa with a humble background, she has spoken about her childhood, which included paddling and walking to school, shaping her resilience.
she is responsible for the development of indigenous people, land titling, and the implementation of the Low Carbon Development Strategy (LCDS) funds in hinterland communities.
