 CALL FOR CONSULTANCY

The Ministry of Indigenous People’s Affairs (MoIPA) and United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for short-term consultancies on:-

The Study on Indigenous Women and Children

We are seeking two consultants for the positions of:-

  1. Support Researcher
  2. Rapporteur

The Support Researcher will provide consistent support to the lead consultant throughout the conduct of the fieldwork. The ideal candidate should have an advanced degree in the social sciences; 5 years of relevant professional experience, with proven competence in qualitative data collection;  among other important qualification and experiences.

The Rapporteur will record the discussions of all meetings, verbatim and prepare and submit comprehensive transcripts. The ideal candidate should have, among other important qualifications and experiences, a university Degree or Diploma in English, communications or related fields; experience in preparing comprehensive verbatim transcripts; competence in the use of Microsoft office package.

All applications should include:

  • Cover letter addressing the consultancy criteria.
  • A short (one page) Proposal, including:

Brief explanation about the Consultant with particular emphasis on the previous experience in this kind of work and your understanding of the TOR.

Financial Proposal (in US$): includes the estimates for services either a daily rate or a lump sum cost, and Daily Subsistence Allowance (DSA).

  • Examples of the previous work.
